Designer For Less: Inspired by the Jimmy Choo Globe

I’m going to be honest, these shoes are slightly different, but they’ve got enough in common that they’re worth a look!

Jimmy Choo has always been popular with the stars, and these Globe heels have been seen all over the place – most recently on Olivia Wilde. I think they’re stunning. Note the black suede and the lovely metal detailing. Of course, at $745, they sure are pricey!

I know. I know. These BCBGirls Border Heels are a little more bulky. They’re not D’Orsay pumps, they’ve got a platform, and they’re a little chunkier all around. But doesn’t that just make them more wearable?! I’ve seen them, and I fell in love at first sight. And they’re certainly similar enough to be “inspired by” the Jimmy Choos! At $112, they’re about six or seven times more wearable for me!

I loved the BCBGirls heels before I even saw the Jimmy Choos. Now, I just think they’re fashion forward and worth more than a second glance. What do you think?

Designer For Less: Valentino Bow d’Orsay Pump Look-a-like

I absolutely love both of these shoes. Honestly, I must have been a bit out of the loop, because I missed the Valentino version and when I saw the Paris Hilton Senorita – I was in love! Then everyone kept saying it was the Valentino Knock-off and I took a look online, and sure enough! I think the Paris Hilton version is a great affordable option for those of you out there who don’t have an extra $745 laying around. Obviously, the Valentino has all those little details that make it so special – but I like the pink sole on the Paris Hiltons!

When I first saw the Christian Louboutin Petal Sandal – I fell in love. It is a truly gorgeous shoe with the perfect feminine flair and delicate look. With beautiful chiffon-like petals running down the t-strap, this heel is a true stunner and would be perfect for a fancy affair or a wedding.

One of the new lines Heels.com picked up, Martinez Valero, did a very similar version of this beautiful shoe at a much more affordable price point. Perfect for looking glam without breaking your budget!

Of course everyone loved Carrie’s dream shoe that Big presented her with in the Sex and the City Movie. That beautiful peacock blue satin pump embellished with a intricate silver and jeweled buckle at the toe – it took our breath away!

The shoe in the movie is the Manolo Blahnik Something Blue heel – a gorgeous shoe by no stretch of the imagination. While we were shopping for new shoes for the site in Atlanta, we picked up a new wedding line – Martinez Valero for this spring, and we immediately spotted a much more reasonably priced look-a-like.

The Manolo Blahnik Something Blue Satin pump is priced at $945 while the Martinez Valero Zenith heel will be priced at about $150.

How’s that for value?

Now you too can have your happy ending…

UPDATE: We will be getting these in within the next few months here at Heels.com – I’ll be sure to let you know!
