So it seems that summer is upon us – already! It seems like it was just winter here!

Summer weather always gets me thinking about being outdoors – cocktails on a patio, lounging by the pool, ahh…

Anyway, summer also opens up new strappy shoes, perfect for showing off a tan!

While we do have an affinity for all sky-high shoes, a perfect comfortable and stylish alternative is everyone’s favorite here in the office: the gold sandal.

They go with pretty much everything, look fresh, and are easy to wear. Linda and I like to keep a spare pair in a shoe bag in our purses when we go out just in case our 5-inchers get to be a little too much.

Today is my birthday so I wore a cute little outfit to work!

I’m wearing the smoking hot LAMB Cannon heels along with one of my favorite dresses. I like the color combo with the white, grey tweed, black, and red shoes and nails.

I even coordinated my background to match! And, of course, a tiara because every girl deserves to be a princess on her birthday! I LOVE these shoes – they are business in the front and party in the back! Haha

Everyone around the office knows I’m so in love with my new BCBGirls Petler boots in black - I wear them almost everyday!!

We have also really been loving the Shoe Girl’s new feature where she shows what shoes she wears everyday with what outfit – very interesting! So we thought we will start doing something similar here!

As usual, I’m wearing my Petler boots… they are so great because they go with pretty much everything, keep my tootsies warm and dry, and are super comfortable with their small wedge! They also remind me a lot of a certain Loeffler Randall boot that I had been lusting over for a long while…
