With less than a week to go and most Halloween parties taking place this weekend, I have some easy, no hassle costume ideas that will be a breeze to throw together at the last minute. You can piece something together from your own wardrobe or hurry to your local costume store and scoop these up today!

First up is a Pan Am Flight attendant. With the success of the hit new ABC series this ensemble makes a vintage idea into a new classic.

Halloween Shoes: Match your Black Swan, Kate Middleton – Royal Bride, Betty Boop, She Wolf, & Wilma Flintstone Costumes

It’s that time of year again Shoe Fans! That’s right, my favorite Holiday is upon us; Halloween! I’ve chosen some classic costumes as well as some of the trendiest ideas for this year to showcase, all with amazing shoes to match. So if you don’t have any clue what to dress as, hopefully this can spark your inspiration.

My first choice comes directly from one of my favorite films released just after Halloween last year. I called it almost a year ago and I anticipate seeing lots of Ballerina “Black Swan” costumes this year.

Ok, all you procrastinators; You have less than a week until Halloween so you might be scrambling right about now. Don’t worry because I have three more last minute ideas that are easy to pull off. I also want to take this opportunity to remind you that costumes everywhere get marked down to half off on November 1st so save yourself some hassle and stock up for next year!

First up is another ole stand-by: The Devil. This costume has been re-worked about a million different ways so you have plenty of styles to choose from. I like this one that looks like fire and flames.

Halloween Shoes: Match your Queen of Hearts, “Jersey Shore” Girls, and Gypsy Costumes

Ok Shoe Folks, we are closing in on the final weeks before Halloween. Costumes should be coming together real soon if not completed already. Did you get one of those bagged ones from the generic “Halloween Store” in the mall? or did you rent yours from a costume house? or did you piece yours together at a vintage store? No matter the construction, the correct footwear is essential. Lets take a peep at three more costumes.

The Queen of Hearts is another character from the wildly popular Alice in Wonderland film from this year. In the movie Helena Bonham Carter had a CGI larger-than-life head that added to twisted plot style of this Tim Burton interpretation. If you want to be a sexy Queen, I suggest something more along the lines of this costume.

Halloween Shoes: Match your Cowgirl, Gangster, and Lady Gaga Costumes

Did you know that Halloween originally started out as a Christian holiday? The tradition of dressing up in costumes comes from the ancient Celts. They believed that this time of year the border between the afterlife and this world is weakened and spirits could pass through and harm them. So they would in turn dress in masks to keep the bad spirits away.

Ok enough History; Let’s get on to the Costumes and Shoes!

First up is another classic that returns time after time. The Cowgirl costume is also good to have on hand for any western themed parties that can happen all throughout the year. Plus cowboy boots never go out of style.

Now that it is officially October I hope your plans have kicked into high gear. With Halloween falling on a Sunday night this year, will you be celebrating before on Saturday … or Friday … or both?

If you feel the need to show off your killer abs but don’t want to wear an arbitrary 2 piece sexy cop uniform, the Belly Dancer option is most appropriate. I hate costumes that are made into separates just for the sole fact that it needs to be as tiny as possible. Who’s with me?!

It is Tuesday again, so you know what that means … time for more Halloween costume inspiration. And just in case you are counting, you have 33 shopping days left until the big day! Have you narrowed down your choice yet?

One of the biggest movies this year was Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland. I loved his new vision on this classic story. This Alice costume is a lovely take on that boring blue dress/white apron combo we have seen for years.

Hey there shoe fans! The summer solstice has passed so that officially means its time to say Happy Birthday to all of my fellow Cancers out there. My Birthday is June 23rd but there is no way I can get in all my celebrating on one day. I must admit that I had a really amazing birthday gathering at one of my favorite local establishments last year but this year could def have the potential to top it.

So the first event on my Birthday agenda has already taken place. My parents came down to visit me this past weekend in the big city of Charlotte, NC from my hometown in Davie County. They normally come to visit for one afternoon every June and we have a Father’s Day/Birthday lunch. I still haven’t assembled my New Year’s Eve outfit (Gasp!) or even made plans for the big night. But I believe that if you have a glam look put together then a party plan is sure to follow. When I think of New Year’s Eve, visions of champagne and glitter dance in my head, so I think this holiday demands a little glitz. Even if your plans involve staying at home and ringing in 2010 on the couch, you can still look fabulous doing it. Here are my top picks to make sure you sparkle inside and out. So it seems that summer is upon us – already! It seems like it was just winter here!

Summer weather always gets me thinking about being outdoors – cocktails on a patio, lounging by the pool, ahh…

Anyway, summer also opens up new strappy shoes, perfect for showing off a tan!

While we do have an affinity for all sky-high shoes, a perfect comfortable and stylish alternative is everyone’s favorite here in the office: the gold sandal.

They go with pretty much everything, look fresh, and are easy to wear. Linda and I like to keep a spare pair in a shoe bag in our purses when we go out just in case our 5-inchers get to be a little too much.

In fact, it seems like today was gold sandal day in the office! Check out our gold sandal love below…
