Ok, all you procrastinators;  You have less than a week until Halloween so you might be scrambling right about now.  Don’t worry because I have three more last minute ideas that are easy to pull off.  I also want to take this opportunity to remind you that costumes everywhere get marked down to half off on November 1st so save yourself some hassle and stock up for next year!

First up is another ole stand-by:  The Devil.  This costume has been re-worked about a million different ways so you have plenty of styles to choose from.  I like this one that looks like fire and flames.

Red Patent Leather and Plaid Punkalicious Pumps with Studds from Naughty Monkey

Lots of people can agree that Halloween is an excuse for any girl to dress a little slutty.  Why not dress up as the most lovable Street Walker we know?  I’m talking about Pretty Woman, of course.

Work that corner with style in these

Black Patent Slouchy Hide and Seek Over The Knee Boots from Dereon

The last costume on my list is one of my favorites.  I have always wanted to be a Mermaid ever since that Disney movie was released way back in 1989.

Hello again Shoe Fans!  My next favorite animal selection is Black Snakeskin.  Combining the most popular selling color with a funky textured pattern is a Win/Win situation.  Snakeskin accents can also give a basic boring shoe the perfect amount of sexiness for an evening out.

I dare you not to hiss with excitement when you take a look at these

If you are more of a Closed Toe Constrictor type, I highly recommend these

Shoes We Love: Summer Wedding Style: Shoes for Every Location

Hey there shoe fans!  Since we had such great feedback on our Wedding posts from earlier this month, I’ve decided to do one more.  This time it is all about location.  You know what they say;  its all about Location, Location, Location when planning your wedding and the venue is one of the first decisions that needs to be made before you can plan anything else.  It doesn’t matter where the wedding is taking place;  the proper footwear is crucial to looking and feeling fabulous.

Our first location is the most traditional:  a Church

If you are literally “Going To The Chapel,” then you can’t go wrong in these:

Our next location is perfect for our floral fanatics.  Garden Weddings can be a harmonious mix of casual and elegant.

If you are headed to a botanical theme Wedding, you will look too cute in these:

A trendy new locale for Weddings these days is a Museum.  I personally love this neo-classical idea.

If you are stepping out to some Museum nuptials, you should take a look at these:

Our next destination is an awesome place for both the ceremony and honeymoon.  I’m talking about Las Vegas, of course.

If you are involved with a Wedding in Sin City where the “King” is officiating, let your personality shine in these:

Without a doubt one of the most beautiful locations that I can think of for any Wedding is most definitely on the Beach.

Don’t get shipwrecked with lame shoes;  try something that will be easy to navigate in the sand like these:

Metallic Silver Joker Thong Sandals with Embellishments from Guess

Because of the convenience factor, a Country Club or a Resort Hotel is also a great venue for your Big Day.  Having plenty of rooms and catering on site makes for a less-stressed Wedding day.

If effortless ease is your style, you must slip your feet into these:

Growing up out in the middle of nowhere, I guess I kinda overlooked how neat it would be to get hitched down on the farm.  This seems to be the up-and-coming hip new locale to tie the knot.

If you are kepping it rustic for your “I Dos,” you’ll be right at home in a pair of these:

Trends We Love: The Nudist

Going nude is one Summer fad that I just can’t get enough of. No, I don’t mean baring your bottom. I’m talking about one of my favorite shoe trends.

Nude shoes are rocking my world right now for the following reasons:

  • Nude lengthens your legs. If your skin tone matches your shoes, your legs will look about a mile long.
  • They keep you cool in the summer. Unlike black sandals that absorb all that heat.
  • They go with practically any outfit:  shorts, dresses, skirts and jeans but nude goes best with a smile.
Here are some of my favorite Nude Shoes, including the first pair owned by yours truly. Happy Heel Hunting!
