Hey there shoe fans!  Since we had such great feedback on our Wedding posts from earlier this month, I’ve decided to do one more.  This time it is all about location.  You know what they say;  its all about Location, Location, Location when planning your wedding and the venue is one of the first decisions that needs to be made before you can plan anything else.  It doesn’t matter where the wedding is taking place;  the proper footwear is crucial to looking and feeling fabulous.

Our first location is the most traditional:  a Church

If you are literally “Going To The Chapel,” then you can’t go wrong in these:

Our next location is perfect for our floral fanatics.  Garden Weddings can be a harmonious mix of casual and elegant.

If you are headed to a botanical theme Wedding, you will look too cute in these:

A trendy new locale for Weddings these days is a Museum.  I personally love this neo-classical idea.

If you are stepping out to some Museum nuptials, you should take a look at these:

Our next destination is an awesome place for both the ceremony and honeymoon.  I’m talking about Las Vegas, of course.

If you are involved with a Wedding in Sin City where the “King” is officiating, let your personality shine in these:

Gold Snakeskin Peep Toe D’Orsay Brice Pumps with a Faux Wedge from Bebe

Without a doubt one of the most beautiful locations that I can think of for any Wedding is most definitely on the Beach.

Don’t get shipwrecked with lame shoes;  try something that will be easy to navigate in the sand like these:

Metallic Silver Joker Thong Sandals with Embellishments from Guess

Because of the convenience factor, a Country Club or a Resort Hotel is also a great venue for your Big Day.  Having plenty of rooms and catering on site makes for a less-stressed Wedding day.

If effortless ease is your style, you must slip your feet into these:

Growing up out in the middle of nowhere, I guess I kinda overlooked how neat it would be to get hitched down on the farm.  This seems to be the up-and-coming hip new locale to tie the knot.

If you are kepping it rustic for your “I Dos,” you’ll be right at home in a pair of these:

After the ceremony is over, the cake has been cut, and all the heartfelt toasts have been said it is time to jet off to your honeymoon.  Take off in a car that is (hopefully) tastefully decorated for the airport where you will take off in a plane to some exotic location.  While planning for “the Big Day” takes most of the focus, a well planned honeymoon wardrobe should not be overlooked.  It doesn’t matter if you are headed to the mountains or the coast, a cruise ship or a ski lodge, a bed & breakfast or a theme park;  we have the perfect footwear for any destination. Bon Voyage!

One of my personal favorite things to do at any wedding is dance.  Having been a dancer all of my life, I love to let loose and celebrate one of the most memorable days in any loved one’s life.  Whether you are the bride having a “Daddy/Daughter” moment or you’re busting a move with the flower girl, we have the perfect footwear to compliment any spin across the dance floor.

Shoes We Love: Summer Wedding Style: Bridesmaid Shoes

Even though being asked to be a Bridesmaid is an honor, we all have a small moment of sheer panic when we realize that we might end up wearing something truly hideous.  We have come a long way in wedding party fashion from those unsightly southern belle hoop-skirt nightmares from the 80′s so why shouldn’t our shoes reflect the same progression?  Ordering your Bridesmaids shoes at the same establishment you order your dress might be convenient but lets face it;  they are seriously lacking in style.  And who wants to dye shoes to match your dress (and elbow length gloves, and flowers, and table linens, etc.) to some specific color you probably won’t wear again?  These days you can make your own rules and redefine what’s conventional.  I’ve seen and heard of lots of Brides letting their wedding party pick their own style of dress and shoes as long as they stay within a particular color scheme.  I think this is a perfect way to look cohesive without sacrificing individual personality.

If you want to ruffle it up, try these:

If you want to splash in a pop of metallic sheen, you have to get these:

Shoes We Love: Summer Wedding Style: Catch the Bouquet Shoes

Love it or hate it, one tradition that rarely escapes any wedding reception is the Bouquet Toss.  While some of us would rather hide in the bathroom than be dragged to the center of the dance floor to be paraded in front of an entire guest list as “Single,” others of us with a secret (or not so secret) competitive edge relish this moment.

Whether you are fierce in the front of the pack ready to elbow any other lady that gets in your way or you just want to look cute and coy while you stand in the back and pretend you don’t want to catch anything;  we’ve got something for everyone.

If you want some floral inspiration on your feet to match what you catch in your hands, you must consider these:

If you are looking to put some bling and spring into your step, you have to grab these:

Shoes We Love: Summer Wedding Style: Bridal Shoes

Hey there shoe Fans!  Time has flown by so quickly this Spring that I didn’t realize until last week that we are in full-blown Summer wedding season.  It snuck up on me super fast but there is no ignoring all the wedding photo albums going up on Facebook this time of year.  I feel like I have seen at least seven from these first two weekends in June.

I know some people think weddings are a drag but I can always find the silver lining for every occasion.  What’s better than free food and plenty of drinks with your besties at a breathtaking location?  Dressing up and mingling with the other fabulous guests?  Free Wedding favors?  Catching the bouquet (like I did at my Big Sorority Sister’s Nuptials)?!

So if you are getting married; participating as a bridesmaid in your BFF’s wedding, or if you’re attending weddings every weekend until September, I’ve picked out some incredible styles for any and every situation that I’ll feature in a series of posts.

First up are my picks for the Bride, of course.  Whether you are super traditional or you like to keep it unique, we have something to suit everyone.  If you’re looking for something that is conservative and comfortable, but certainly not boring, I highly recommend:

Jewelled Ivory Satin Pointed Toe April Pumps by Martinez Valero

If your taste is a little more flirty and feminine, you have to get these:

White Satin Badgley Mischka Raquel Sandals with a fabric flower accent

Lots of Brides these days love to wear a pop of color on their feet.  If you are one of them, you have to consider these:

Upcoming Styles: Fabulous wedding shoes…

It is almost that time again, wedding season is right around the corner.  After my wedding in November (above), I looked and looked for the perfect shoe for my beach wedding and came to realize that there is a lack of wedding shoes in this industry.  Well, cute wedding shoes anyway!  I finally decided on an embellished pair of thong sandals from Charles David – the Starlite (no longer available).

Other brides are not as lucky as I am to have the pick of thousands of shoes, so being the great buyer I am I went out on the search for the most stylish, fabulous wedding shoes on the market.  One of the top wedding brands on my list is Martinez Valero.  Take a look at some of my favorites:
